Progressive overload

A PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD TRACKER THAT GIVES YOU A CLEAR NEXT STEP

Progressive overload is simple in theory: gradually make training more challenging. The difficult part is deciding when to add weight, when to add reps and when to stay where you are.

Gymerium records recent exercise performance and turns it into a practical recommendation for the next session. It does not rely on a chatbot or vague motivation. It uses transparent, rule-based progression logic based on the training data you log.

TRACK MORE THAN THE NUMBER ON THE BAR

Weight is only one part of progression. Gymerium considers the sets and reps completed for an exercise so it can distinguish between readiness to increase the load and a session where it makes sense to continue building within the current rep range.

INCREASE WEIGHT WHEN PERFORMANCE SUPPORTS IT

When logged performance reaches the relevant progression conditions, Gymerium can recommend a higher load for the next session. A recommendation is a training aid, not a guarantee or medical instruction.

BUILD REPS BEFORE ADDING LOAD

Not every workout needs a weight increase. Gymerium can recommend staying at the same load while you work toward the top of a target rep range.

NOTICE PLATEAUS EARLIER

Repeated sessions at the same performance level can indicate that forcing progression is not useful. Gymerium can identify short stalls and recommend holding steady or reducing training demands where its rules support that decision.

PROGRESS WITHOUT FIXED WEEKDAYS

Gymerium moves through your chosen workout sequence in order. Missing Monday does not permanently break your plan: your next workout remains the next workout in the sequence.

WORKS DURING REAL GYM CONDITIONS

Core workout logging works offline, so poor reception does not stop you from recording a session or checking previous sets.
